In this conceptual essay, we explore the potential of critical artifactual and place literacies to wake ecological mindedness as students curate objects and stories that represent the worlds they inhabit. We introduce Little Green Museums (LGMs) as a pedagogical tool to explore the intersection between stories instantiated in objects, the places and people the objects are connected to, and the potential for an ecologically minded and aesthetic approach to curriculum and pedagogy.
