About Logistics Research
Logistics Research is an academic, double-blind, peer-reviewed journal, publishing research from an interdisciplinary perspective in logistics management and engineering. Logistics Research solicits and publishes work advancing the development of logistics theory, methods and innovative logistics practices as well as the integration of the various associated disciplines such as management and social sciences, economics, behavioral sciences, operations research, informatics, and other relevant engineering sciences.
Former publications are still available via Logistics Research at BVL, which remains as the supporting society. Bundesvereinigung Logistik (BVL) - The Supply Chain Network is a German nonprofit organization founded as a neutral platform to promote an awareness for the importance of logistics and supply chain management in industry, science and the public sphere, to connect companies and individuals from the worlds of industry, commerce, services and science, and to promote scientific progress in this economic sector.
