Chapter 8: Collaboration and New Contracts Available to Purchase

This Chapter deals with the issues of collaboration and collaborative behaviour. It is made clear that early engagement between all future BIM participants is key to the successful use of BIM and of greater collaborative behaviour. BIM encourages greater cohesion between the various participants, and this is an ideal background for inclusion and diversity. Various contract formations, such as new contracts, smart contracts, and contracts in blockchain are considered in this Chapter.
