Dr Angelos Bollas is a Sociologist currently based in the Department of Sociology at Maynooth University. His research focuses on societal discrimination in relation to sexuality, cultural representations of masculinities, and expressions of masculinities which challenge normative understandings of gender and sexuality, as well as pedagogical considerations around inclusion and diversity. He is the author of Contemporary Irish Masculinities, 2024 (Routledge) and Sexualised Governmentalities, 2024 (Springer), and the co-editor of HIV/AIDS in Memory, Culture, Society, 2024 (Palgrave Macmillan).
